The CH22 lounge chair, manufactured from 1950, was part of Hans J. Wegner’s debut collection for Carl Hansen & Søn. The chairs were all made of wood with seats in paper cord instead of upholstery. They are among the designer’s most well-known and sought-after creations today. CH22 features Wegner's signature details of fine craft — refined joints, subtle grooves, distinctive wooden cover caps — and a woven paper cord seat.
